On the 9 th and 10 th of December at 15:10 the Director of Contemporary Solutions Robert Ravelli will give a course of lectures on the issues of the transport planning, the urban policy and the travel demand management. Both lectures will take place in the room № 330 (Myasnitskaya street 9/11)
The key points of the lectures:
- Travel Demand Management and Mobility Management (Case Studies)
- Transport Station Area Planning and Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (Case Studies)
- Integrating Transport and Land Use, the role of density in transport planning
- Transport and Health
- Four Stage Model Forecasting Method -general outline with some examples from Dublin and Philadelphia.

Robert Ravelli has been a master planner for more than twenty years in the USA, UK/Europe, China and Australia. He earned a Master’s degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania. He works with clients such as Transport for London, the European Union, local government and private developers. He provided impact reports, transportation/economic development advisory tasks and policy analysis to the Mayor’s Office in the City of Philadelphia for 8 years. He also provided the expert consultancy services in Moscow and prepared a plan of an intermodal transport hub for a station on the Moscow Metro.
